Are you part of a chain or franchise?
No. Iron Crust Pizza Co. is one independently owned family shop. We've been at 2847 W Sylvania Ave since 2014. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any national or regional pizza chain. One shop, one owner (Eddie Ruiz), eleven staff.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to west Toledo — roughly everything west of Secor Road to the Michigan state line. If you're on the east side of town, pickup at the shop is always available. Not sure if you're in the zone? Just call and we'll tell you.
How long does delivery take?
Usually 30–40 minutes. On Friday and Saturday nights it can push to 45–60 minutes, especially after 6 pm. The oven fits eight pizzas at a time and we don't rush the bake. If it's going to be longer than expected, we tell you when we call back to confirm.
How do I pay?
Cash or card at the door for delivery, or at the counter for pickup. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We do not take credit card information online or over the phone — payment is always in person.
Can I order online?
Yes — through our order form. You enter your name, phone, and what you want. We call you back within five minutes to confirm. It's not a full e-commerce checkout because we don't take payment online. Think of it as texting us your order, except we call you to make sure we got it right.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We offer a gluten-free crust for an extra $3 on any pizza. It's a 10-inch size only. Note: our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment — we handle wheat flour constantly. If you have celiac disease, we recommend caution.
What about allergies?
All our pizzas contain wheat (dough) and dairy (cheese). Some salad dressings contain tree nuts. If you have a food allergy, please mention it when we call to confirm your order and we'll do our best to accommodate. We can't guarantee a completely allergen-free kitchen.
Can I place a large order for a party?
Absolutely. For 5 or more pizzas, please call at least a day ahead so we can plan oven time. We can do up to about 30 pizzas for one order with advance notice. Call (419) 555-1247 and talk to whoever's at the counter.
Do you have a minimum order for delivery?
No minimum. We'll bring you one pizza if that's what you want. Delivery is free within our zone.
